Week 1: Induction & planning Shot 1 for Portfolio.

Week 2: Start blocking an animation and understanding the key poses to be blocked.

Week 3: From blocking stage to smoothing the animation here you will work to add further keys to the poses or the expressions. Use the graph editor to smoothing the animation.

Week 4: At this stage the animator works on the details of the animation and brings it close to the realistic reference.

Week 5: Micro detailing involves micro detailing from all angles and animating it deeply.

Week 6: Finishing stage involves final touches before the animation is ready for publishing.

Week 7: Buffer time / Break 

Week 8: Planning the Shot 2 for Portfolio.

Week 9: Start blocking the second shot animation and understanding the key poses to be blocked.

Week 10: From blocking stage to smoothing the animation here you will work to add further keys to the poses or the expressions. Use the graph editor to smoothing the animation.

Week 11: At this stage the animator works on the details of the animation and brings it close to the realistic reference.

Prerequisite Course:

  1. Maya Basics For Animation (If the student have not worked on Autodesk Maya)
  2. Acting For Animation
  3. Any One Of Advanced Animation Courses

The course has been designed keeping in mind that the student may have prior knowledge of Animation in Maya else they may be required to complete some of the prerequisite courses as mentioned above.
